Job Description


backend engineer who wants to bring our applications with us to the next level.

  • develop high performing and reliable services and APIs for our application landscape
  • “you build it, you run it” - deploy and maintain all services on our Kubernetes cluster on AWS
  • perform security checks and quality control with the help of our toolset on all our applications
  • continuously enhance our development workflows with the evaluation and integration of new tools and services
  • provide support and guidance for our team - teach and learn from everyone in the organization

Qualifications


solution-oriented team player with a passion for clean code & innovation.

  • you love to develop software every day and it goes without saying to check-in, review, test and deploy your code daily
  • you are comfortable in 1+ web programming languages – PHP or Golang ideally being one of them
  • you are experienced in building APIs and REST services with SQL and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, Redis)
  • you have experience with deploying and maintaining web-applications in the cloud – ideally with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Github Actions
  • you speak fluent English. German would be a plus (no actual requirement, but willingness to learn)
  • working in agile teams and projects is second nature to you
